What is an E-Credit?

E-Credit is an electronic credit that can be used as either full or part payment for any item that is purchased from Powerplaydirect.com.

How do I get an E-Credit?

An E-Credit can currently only be obtained by insurance policy holders who have had a claim handled by Powerplay Direct Ltd Insurance Replacement Services.

An E-Credit can be issued at the customers request in lieu of any items, due to be replaced, which for whatever reason, PowerplayDirect Limited were unable to supply. The amount of the E-Credit is determined to be the difference between the value of items replaced by Powerplay Direct Ltd (that would normally be charged to the policy holder's insurance company) and the full value of the claim.

How do I spend my E-Credit?

If you are an insurance policy holder who has been issued an E-Credit as either part or final settlement of a claim, you will have received an email from your Customer Service representative which provides conformation of the value of your E-Credit and also a username and password.

Your username will be the email address you provided us with and to which the confirmation email was sent. You will have been provided with a randomly generated password which you can use to log in to www.powerplaydirect.com.

If you have previously registered at www.powerplaydirect.com then provided your username/email address matches that used for your E-Credit, your E-Credit will be applied to your existing Powerplaydirect.com account and you should continue to use your existing password.

Do I have to spend all my E-Credit?

No, your E-Credit will be offset against the value of any item or items you add to your basket. If the value of your E-Credit still exceeds the value of the items in your basket when you proceed to the Checkout, your order will be placed and your remaining E-Credit stored; you will not be required to enter any payment details. You can continue to use your E-Credit to pay for items until it has been completely used.

If the value of your basket exceeds the value of your E-Credit when you proceed to the Checkout, you will be required to enter your payment details for the balance outstanding.

How long does my E-Credit Last?

There is no time-limit associated with your E-Credit. If you have an E-Credit balance it will be used automatically for any items in your shopping basket.

You can choose to use your E-Credit as soon as you receive it, or simply whenever you decide to buy from www.powerplaydirect.com

When you log-in to www.powerplaydirect.com your E-Credit will be shown in your basket and will remain unaffected until you complete the checkout process.

What happens if I cancel or return an item bought with E-Credit?

You can decide to cancel any item you order at www.powerplaydirect.com before we pick and despatch it to you via the My Account section of the website. If you cancel an item that you bought using your E-Credit, your E-Credit will be refunded to the same value of the item*.

If you need to return an item for whatever reason, please see our Returns Policy. In the event the returned item was paid for by E-Credit, your E-Credit will be credited within 24 hours of our receiving the item.+

Can I change my mind?

Unfortunately, we are unable to reverse an E-Credit. In the unlikely event that you are unable to use your E-Credit to the full, we ask you to send us an email to ecredit@powerplaydirect.com outlining your reason(s) why you are unable to use the E-Credit and at our discretion we may or may not issue vouchers or cheque as reimbursement although an administration charge may be applied
