UK DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS
  1. Contracts for the purchase of goods by a UK consumer not acting in the course of a business and made over the telephone or through the Powerplay Direct Limited website, or by mail order, are with the exception of certain excepted contracts, subject to The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 ('the Regulations').
  2. If the Regulations apply, customers may cancel goods purchased from Powerplay Direct Limited by requesting their return through the "order history" section within "my account" on the PowerplayDirect.com website.
  3. The notice of cancellation must be sent within 7 working days of the date of delivery of the goods. If sending this by post please obtain proof of posting.
  4. Unless there is a breach of contract by Powerplay Direct Limited - The customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods if he or she exercises this right of cancellation under the Regulations. If the customer does not actually return the goods to Powerplay Direct Limited, the customer is under a duty to make goods available for collection at the customer's expense from the address to which they were delivered.
  5. The customer is under a duty to retain possession of the goods whilst awaiting return to Powerplay Direct Limited and to take reasonable care of them during this period. The customer will be liable for any loss of or damage to the goods if he or she fails to comply with this obligation.
RETURNS

How do I return an item?

  1. Log-in as usual and navigate to the "MY ACCOUNT" menu.
  2. Click on the "ORDER HISTORY" button. This will then show you all your processed orders.
  3. Locate the item you wish to return and click on the icon.
  4. You will then be asked to confirm your selection for return. If it is correct click the "YES" button.
  5. Now you need to select the reason for returning the item from the drop down list. Once selected click "CONTINUE"
  6. Fill in the description box with the relevant details for the return.
  7. Select the desired action from the drop down list. When this is correct click "REQUEST AUTHORISATION".
  8. You will now be issued with a returns (RMA) number - record this for future reference.
  9. Ensure your printer is turned on. Click the "PRINT DOCUMENTATION" button.
  10. Follow the remaining instructions on the page regarding packaging the item and sending it off.
  11. Click the "FINISHED" button
What do I do if I have received a faulty product?

Follow the steps above for returning a product, ensuring you enter the reason as "Damaged".

Can I return something if I have ordered it incorrectly?

Yes*, follow the steps above for returning a product, ensuring you enter the reason as "Unwanted Item".

* Can I return an item which was priced as part of a multi-buy deal?

Items purchased from a multi-buy deal, for example, buy 3 £15 items for £30, have been reduced in price as part of the deal. As such all the items in a multi-buy deal are considered "the item" and can only be returned completely. You may return all the items for a complete refund, however you cannot return a single item for a part-refund.
