Eighties high-priestess of ‘whore-or; Cassandra Peterson, aka Elvira, ‘Mistress of the Dark', has made a special comeback to host ELVIRA'S BOX OF HORROR, for Time Life.
The 18-rated box of cheese delights includes six of the greatest low-budget horror flicks ever made: Herk Harvey's Carnival of Souls (1962), Francis Ford Coppola's Dementia 13, the original Night of the Living Dead (1968) directed by George A Romero, William Castle's House on Haunted Hill (1959), Roger Corman's The Little Shop of Horrors (1959), and Joseph Green's The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962).
Each of these corny classics is introduced by Peterson who has dusted off her trademark gothic beehive and voluptuous vamp suit to write and record the x minutes of smutty intros and outros especially for this release.
Thanks to her customary blend of double-entendres, raunchy jokes and allusions to her prodigious physique and libido, Elvira 's Box of Horror is one all B-movie buffs and fright-flick fans will want to dip into….
